Triangle North Healthcare Foundation has released the Vance County Child Well-Being Analysis.
TNHF Board of Directors select new Executive Director.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Triangle North Healthcare Foundation for its generous support of Children’s Cancer Partners of the Carolinas. No one budgets for cancer, and families are suddenly faced with overwhelming financial and emotional challenges when their child is diagnosed. As there are no pediatric cancer treatment centers in Vance, Granville, Warren, or Franklin Counties, local families face the added burden of having to travel to Chapel Hill, Durham, or beyond just to access care for their children. These grants strengthen our Childhood Cancer Safety Net program, which ensures that every child has equitable access to lifesaving cancer treatment, no matter where they live, how far they must travel for treatment, or how long their journey lasts. With this funding, we can help families overcome the immense financial and logistical barriers of treatment by reimbursing travel expenses, providing emergency assistance, and guiding families through complex healthcare and support systems. Just as importantly, this support helps us create connections that ease the isolation families often feel. Thanks to the Foundation’s partnership, children with cancer in Franklin, Granville, Vance, and Warren Counties will have the resources they need and will never have to fight alone.”
